On a cold winter evening in a quiet suburb, a preacher visits a house and is welcomed inside by a teenager dressed in 2000s punk fashion. Offering hot cocoa, the teen reveals a dark secret after the preacher takes a sip. He is the Grim Reaper. As the preacher chokes on the drink, the Reaper claims his soul, adding his portrait to the enigmatic Book of the Dead, marking the preacher’s timely end.
The storyboard was created as part of my coursework at Savannah College of Art and Design. I was provided with three images—two characters and one environment—and was tasked with crafting a story that brought them together.
